I have been seeing Anita Chopra for about 3 years. I find her very relaxed and easy to talk to. She has an amazing skill at diagnosing a problem and working to correct it. I was very nervous at first about the needles. She has a very gentle touch and I don't even feel them go in.

In recent phone conversations with my brother, I am hearing very enthusiastic reports on his sciatic pain relief. Now he is also very hopeful the laser will improve the mobility of his shoulder too. With less pain, his ability to get around has improved dramatically and he is a much happier man. He can't believe the difference and is now promoting laser and your clinic to all his friends.

For my own hearing problems I have had a couple of treatments with Jodie Anderson at Brant Pain Relief Clinic (located in Brantford, Ontario) with positive results.

I just wanted to thank you for your continued good work - I think I chose well when I selected your clinic from the list!

When I first decided to try Acupuncture I was sceptical of the effects. After one treatment I was shocked at how well my body responded. With patience, a passion for Chinese medicine and wisdom beyond her years, Anita has helped me connect with my mind, body and soul. I have experienced significant health improvements including menstrual cycle regularity and a decrease in menstrual cramps. Anita is comprehensive and throrough in her treatment and diagnosis, routinely going above and beyond.

Acupuncture has helped me retain my independance and relieved the pain and stiffened joints of osteoarthritis. Anita ia caring and thorough, and always explains her diagnosis.

The Acupuncture aided in repairing my knee. I fell playing soccer which causes swelling, water retention and discomfort. The acupuncture accelerated the healing and comfort level. Also hormone hot flashes were able to be addressed at the same time, BONUS!

"Dear Stan,

Please accept my sincere thanks for a job well done by you and your staff.  I have been having lower back problems since March of 2009 and have finally found relief thanks to your treatments.  Your systematic and thorough approach to troubleshooting the root cause of my pain was very impressive.  I have not experienced this kind of patient care or treatment before.  Equally impressive was the fact that I am from out of town and you provided your personal cell number and encouraged me to call if I had any emergency flare ups as well as giving me a follow up phone call that you provided personally.  This kind of care is simply unheard of these days.  Please keep up the good work!  You set the standard.  :)

I will definitely be back even if it is just for a visit to say a quick hello."

I had always been curious about acupuncuture, and finally tried after a referral from my massage therapist. I was shocked at the immediate results I had with my jaw pain. I continue to see Anita on a monthly basis and always feel better when I'm done.

"Over my life……the word Drop meant… Drop a girlfriend, Drop a few pounds, drop bad habits, drop a job, drop a few bucks in Vegas, but who ever would have thought I would have “drop foot.” Drop Foot and Foot Drop are interchangeable terms that describe an abnormal neuromuscular (nerve and muscle) disorder that affects the your ability to raise your foot at the ankle. Drop foot is further characterized by an inability to point the toes toward the body (dorsiflexion) or move the foot at the ankle inward or outward. Pain, weakness, and numbness may accompany loss of function.

This is not a good thing for me as I work in heavy duty construction, I am an avid bicycle rider & runner. I am a competive Outrigger & Dragonboat Paddler, yes, you need your whole body to paddle! I train & run marathons. I am a very competitive person in all sports. When walking, riding (you need foot control on a bike)& running became a challenge due to the my inability to control the foot at the ankle. My foot appeared floppy and was starting to drag the foot and toes while walking. With foot drop I was exhibiting an exaggerated or high-stepping walk called Steppage Gait or Footdrop Gait. This was very frustrating to me. I should mention here the slapping down sound of my foot was driving my wife crazy.

I was not a regular to the Chiropractic world then. My doctor had sent me for physio, but that did not help and I was progressively getting worse. Did I mention my wife hated the sound of my steps ?   My wife is a big fan of Chiropractic. One day she called me on my cell phone to say she had made me an appointment to see Dr. Stan Marcus. Ohhhhh God, Why did I give her my cell number! I don’t need a crack-a-practor !   Yes, I kept the appointment , because my wife came with me. I am glad I took my wifes lead.

I have been a patient with Dr. Stan for just 10 months. I am back running I have entered 3 runs this year (so far) I have finished with better times than I did 10 years previous. I have learned how to swim (before my Chiropractic treatments I was not being able to point my toes for the kicking part) this makes trying to swim a real challenge.

I am now back on top of my game. Moving better than I have in years. I plan to stay that way. I would never miss my regular Chiropractic appointments. I think Chiropractic treats the whole body, mind & spirit.

Paddles Up !"

"Dr. Stan Recently found several spinal problems in my teenage son when we thought that he was perfectly fine. We're so glad that we had him checked by a Chiropractor and were able to find, and correct his spinal weaknesses at an early age. What a difference it will make for him in later life."

"1985 I had been in a very bad car accident in. I lost my gall bladder, neck movement, problems in my hips, my self-esteem and I was told I probably would not be walking in few years. I had medical attention, and therapy, but it was not helping. Being no longer as active due to the pain & stiffness, I had also gained a lot of weight; to say I was struggling would be putting it mildly.

1995 , 10 years had gone by since my accident and things were looking pretty bleak. Not being one to complain, even if I did the words I heard ..”just take these pills they will help with the pain” ….”sorry nothing we can do”. Well, I don’t do pain pills, & I was becoming very frustrated. One of my daughters told me how much her chiropractor had helped her. Hmmmm, yes, she was doing very well, she and I had been in the same car accident. I had just thought that she was doing better because she was younger than I.

I had heard about a Chiropractor in my area that everyone liked, and he had two dogs. Well, then he had some redeeming qualities he is a lover of dogs. But please…he’s not a real doctor he is a Chiropractor for heavens sake!

When I made my first appointment with the dog lover, I was very nervous. I took a deep breath and thought, “Think like a dog”. A dog you see enters new situations by believing, trusting; seizing the moment, knowing all will be well. That is when my life changed.

Now what Stan did, I think was different. He took in the whole Picture of me the person, asking what I did before and now and what I wanted to continue to do etc. I kept all my appointments did my “homework” no matter how hard it was. I promised to follow through. I did mostly. It was not long before I was feeling great! When I slacked off (because I was feeling so good I could skip, right?) Dr. Stan was understanding & supportive, not pushy. He taught me that Chiropractic was not just for now and then, to only come in when you’re hurting, but for regular care to stay healthy.

Oh, please …do you think my story is over? I was now feeling terrific I stopped coming in for regular visits, and went a whole year, Sports, speaking seminars the works. Slowly I started to go backwards. I was then diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, & high blood pressure.

Yes, I made the call to the dog lover, thinking I would be crawling back like a whipped dog. NO ! Dr. Stan greeted & treated me like I had never been away. Over the months of treatments I was back to my old self…however it took a year to be ….yes wait for it… I am no longer a type 2 or any other kind of a diabetic or have high blood pressure.

Yes, I believe it is all eating right, exercise and ALL about regular chiropractic treatments.

I will add here that my dogs (3 border Collies) being the athletes & entertainers all go for regular chiropractic care. Regular Chiropractic care keeps Hana the dancing Queen at her performance best, Switch & Betty are able to stretch out catching those Frisbees high in the air, and do all the tricks and run the agility courses as the true champions they are.

My Veterinarian says my dogs have the slowest heart rates she has ever heard …because they are fit & pain free due to Chiropractic care.  I now never consider NOT keeping all our Chiropractic appointments.

Thank you Dr. Stan Marcus you are truly “leader of the Pack” and Val who keeps the order of all things !

 Woof!"
